Hispanic Ministry
The Hispanic Ministry coordinates the Spanish language Mass and provides sacramental preparation, religious education, music ministry, and youth ministry for the Spanish-speaking members of St. Mary’s parish community. ~ Parish Office, 541-342-1139
Liturgical Ministries
A team of cross bearers, servers, readers, and Eucharistic ministers are privileged to assist St. Mary's clergy at each one of over seventeen liturgies celebrated each week. The parish’s musicians and choirs are significant elements in St. Mary’s liturgical life, offering a variety of traditional and contemporary music. Each of the choirs rehearses one evening each week and provides music for a specific Mass each Sunday. ~ David Phillips, Parish Office, 541-342-1139
Outreach Ministry
A multitude of individuals and small groups extend the sacraments and hospitality of the Church to those who cannot leave their homes, are confined to care facilities, or are unable to transport themselves to services. ~ Susan Sperotto, Parish Office, 541-342-1139
Religious Education & Sacramental Preparation
Religious education classes for children, grades K-5, are normally offered each Monday, from 6:30 until 7:45 pm, throughout the school year. Students preparing for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will gather for a number of additional events. Classroom instruction, assemblies, special Liturgies, and community outreach are ingredients of the program. RCIA
Each school year, St. Mary’s provides a weekly class for adults wishing to enter, become full members of, or just learn more about the Catholic Church. The process is called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). ~ Deacon Tom Altenhofen, Parish Office, 541-342-1139
Youth & Young Adult Ministry
St. Mary's Life Teen Mass begins each Sunday evening at 5:30 pm in the church. Each Sunday, after the Life Teen Mass, High school students gather for Life Night in St. Mary's Teen Center (formerly the Auxiliary Hall).
