St. Mary provides sacramental preparation services for the Sacrament of Confirmation to our families.

Youth Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is a beautiful opportunity for the entire family to draw closer to the Lord and strengthen their faith. The St. Mary Confirmation Program is for students in grades 7–12 and meets approximately twice a month, from September through June, after the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. A complete calendar of events and additional requirements will be available in the fall.

At St. Mary, our desire is to prepare students for the Sacrament of Confirmation through discipleship, discussion-based classes, and by empowering families and Sponsors to pass on the Catholic faith. We also encourage students to connect with other young Catholics in our area through retreats, youth group, and other social events. We have an amazing team of youth ministry leaders who serve in small groups and pray alongside your students as they grow in faith throughout the year.

If your student is participating in Confirmation classes at O'Hara, please register with O’Hara. We will then contact you with a separate registration form as we continue our collaboration with their program.

Adult Confirmation

Adult Confirmation classes meet one Saturday a month from January to April, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with all classes being mandatory. This four-class course seeks to deepen the participant’s knowledge of the Holy Spirit as well as to establish prayer habits that will sustain an ongoing relationship with the Holy Spirit. The course takes place at the beginning of the year so that those who are ready can be Confirmed in May or June. Pre-registration is required.
