Baptism
Baptisms of infants and young children take place the first Sunday of each month. Preparation is required. Expecting parents should contact the parish office as early as possible.
Adults seeking Baptism click here to learn about the OCIA program and contact Marybeth Schombert.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation is offered weekly on Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and on Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the church, or by appointment. Contact the Parish Office if you would like to schedule an appointment.
(For First Reconciliation, see “First Communion” below.)
First Reconciliation & First Communion
In addition to religious education received in the Catholic schools and at the parish, a series of additional sacramental preparation events readies children aged seven and up for their First Reconciliation in the fall, and then their First Communion in the spring. Contact Julie Rutledge-Sanchez, Parish Office.
Adults seeking First Reconciliation and First Communion, refer to the OCIA program and contact Marybeth Schombert.
Confirmation
St. Mary provides a series of monthly classes to prepare students grade seven and higher for confirmation. Classes begin in the fall. The date of the actual rite is subject to the bishop's schedules. For teens, contact Chrysten Copley.
For adults, St. Mary provides a series of monthly classes beginning in January. The date of the actual rite is subject to the bishop's schedules. Contact Marybeth Schombert, Pastoral Associate, Parish Office.
Marriage
Those wishing to be married at St. Mary should contact the parish office no less than six months prior to their anticipated wedding date, as a period of preparation is required prior to scheduling a wedding. Call the Parish Office to begin the preparation process.
Anointing of the Sick
Anyone seriously ill, facing major surgery, or in danger of death due to failing health may receive this sacrament of healing. It is not necessary or recommended to wait until the “hour of death.” Call the Parish Office.
